The Mission:

Corban’s mission is to eventually be able to rescue and care for up to a thousand children in Peru who are orphans or in a state of abandonment. Will caring for a thousand children make a dent in the problem? Absolutely not. But we’re not focused on numbers, we’re focused on individual lives as part of families.

Our model of care is a somewhat new development in caring for orphans; that is, to move away from warehouses of children that may fix the immediate problem and get kids off the street, but don’t raise them up in a normal way.

Instead, we’re working to raise the children in smaller family units of eight children to a home, with a married couple as house parents, to model for them the stable, traditional family.

But most importantly, the outcome must be that we send them back out into their society physically, psychologically and spiritually healthy. Raising these children up in the way of the Lord is a foundational part of our model of care.

  1. I praise God for the good work started in Peru and I pray for all success in your vision for the abandoned children there.

  2. It is a blessing to know that in Peru, there is people of Faith to do God's work. It is a burden in my heart to do something like you guys are doing, I am Peruvian living in Miami and I would like to be a help of any kind, if you ever need another heart with the right intentions to keep these little angels off the streets and have the opportunity like God's intended for all his creation, be loved and guided in his path through his #1 commandment LOVE .
